Vintage Linen Hankie Homestead Resort Hot Springs VA
This is such a fabulous hankie! The Homestead Resort and Spa is located in Hot Springs, Virginia in the heart of the Allegheny Mountains. Although it has been in existence since before the American Revolution, the modern day resort dates from around 1890. In 1991 the resort became a National Historic Landmark. This hankie is linen and depicts different scenes one might see when visiting The Homestead and the main building in the center. It measures 15” square and has a red hand rolled hem. All colors are vibrant and the graphics clear and bold. There is no tag, but it is in excellent condition. There is a tiny pin hole at the very bottom where it appears someone may have attached a price tag at one time, but this does not detract from this wonderful hankie. This is a great collector piece and one I believe is hard to find.
